Are you in Hurry!!!! But still you need to prepare breakfast, don’t worry here is a receipe for you if you have green peas at home, it will be prepared in short time and not compromises with taste.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh Green peas or frozen baby peas
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups basmati or other long-grain white Rice
5 Green chillies – split into 2 pieces
1 tsp Bengal Gram Dal
1 tsp Black Gram Dal
3 tsp vegetable oil
½ tsp Mustard seeds
10 Curry leaves
½ cup grated fresh Coconut
3 tsp coarsely chopped Coriander leaves
Salt
Procedure:
- Clean the rice in water and keep it aside.
- Switch on the stove and put cooker to heat up.
- Put oil then mustard seeds once it started splitting add bengal gram, black gram, onion and sauté till it turns golden brown.
- Now add green chillies and curry leaves to avoid sprinkling.
- Add Green peas to it and sauté.
- Pour 4 cups of water to it and add required amount of salt.
- Add rice, coconut and coriander leaves.
- Close the cooker and wait for 2-3 pressures.
- After that switch off stove and let the cooker cool.
- Open the lid and the dish is ready to serve.
