You have left out or mashed cooked rice and does not want to throw it, then I will show how you can make rotti by using it, it’s really savory just try it you will believe me.
Preparation time: 10mins
Cooking time: 20mins
Serves: 5 to 6
Ingredients:
1 cup Rice flour
2 cups Cooked rice
1cup of Coriander leaves
¼ cup Curry leaves
8 Green chillies
1 tsp Jeera
15gms Ginger
½ cup finely grated Carrot
Salt
Water
Procedure:
- Take a bowl add rice flour and cooked rice, mix well by using hands.
- Blend green chillies and ginger.
- Add the paste to same bowl.
- Later add coriander leaves, jeera, carrot and curry leaves.
- Add required amount of salt and water to it and make a thick batter.
6. Divide batter into equal parts and put each of them on tava as roti.
7. Fry on both the sides. Rotti is ready to eat with ghee or coconut chutney.
